Black and White Studios is a fine art photography studio, owned and operated by Karen Taylor. A former student of Munson Williams Proctor Institute, and Syracuse University School of Architecture, Karen tries to impart a fine art influence to every image she creates, but has a particular love and passion for creating custom black and white children’s and family portraiture. Karen specializes in BUMPS AND BABIES (pregnancy and newborns) and young children's WATCH ME GROW portraiture. Black and White Studios is featuring two new programs: Bumps & Babies, and Watch Me Grow. She takes the time to capture the unique energy of each person. Black and White Studios is the total experience. Karen also provides custom framing of your portraits. New to 2008 is an extensive and highly specialized Senior Portrait Program, with six different session choices: Classic, Fashion, Artistic, Outdoor, Pets/Friends/Family, and High Fashion Art. Seniors have a choice of ten Portrait Package Specials and nine Wallet Package Specials (with wallets as low as $1.75 a piece). Diversity, Choices, and Individuality are key in these sessions. Karen has just joined SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER'S INTERNATIONAL. Every Senior photographed at Black and White Studios in 2008 will be entered for a chance to win a car or $20,000 cash. Weddings with Karen are totally customized, although the starting point is one of five specialized Wedding Packages. Karen believes each wedding is unique and therefore impossible to isolate into a specific package. Wedding couples are met with the intent upon making their Dream Wedding come true. Each wedding becomes personal to Karen, and she endeavors to accommodate your Once-in-a-Lifetime Special Day. Karen, a Norwegian, has lived much of her life in Europe and South East Asia, and her imagery certainly expresses her lifetime of International exposure. Karen's images have hung in the Munson Williams Proctor Institute, Cogar Gallery, Cooperstown Art Association, and Central New York Heart Gallery where her photography helped highlight children awaiting adoption in Central New York. Karen is currently on the “Reel” Kids/Heart Gallery committee and the photographer for Clinton’s Art Rocks projects.
