My name is Crystal. I am a busy wife and a harassed mother of three. I know how important it is to take a moment to remember everything that makes your life special before it's too
late.
A few years ago I got a digital camera as a gift. I had alway been interested in photography but never done anything to pursue it.
So after getting this Kodak point-and-shoot I started snapping
photos of my children. Random candids, posed photos, anything
that looked interesting to me.
I got some really great shots and had them printed. In fact they
were much better than the studio shots I had always taken my
children for. And let's face it...more FUN! Studio photography
with children is a nightmare. When are they ever going to smile
for you on queue?
That is when I started carrying the camera with me most places
and just snapping away at a pretty sky or something my husband
did or just a random shot that I liked.
About a year ago now my husband suggested that I might like
doing this for other people and actually expand it into a business.
Since then I have upgraded my equipment and built a dedicated
client list but I still hold to the same thought that pictures
should be fun. They should reflect you and who you are.
I want you to walk away from one of my shoots feeling great,
smiling and excited about the pictures that you will get.
I never felt that way when I took my children to the portrait
studio. I was always tired, irritated and my children were worse.
Let me show you what photography should be, can be, with
me...will be.

Whether it be the wedding of your dreams, catching your child attempting a manicure on her sister in the middle of your white carpeting, or remembering exactly the way that Granny smiles, it is all a part of your life and should be preserved just exactly the way that you live it.
This is why I refuse to do posed, stiff, studio portraits. And why you will NEVER hear me tell you to "SAY CHEESE".
If that is what you need then you have come to the wrong place. I try to concentrate on letting YOU come through in your photos. I can provide direction if you would like to get a certain look to your photos but the majority of the time I just want you to feel as natural as possible.

You never have to let someone else have control of your memories.
Having a photographer come to you is never an issue. They are more than willing, but what about when you actually need the photos in hand? How fast is the turnaround time? What if you
need more? Reprints made in 3 years? Do you want to pay this photographer AGAIN for work that was completed years ago? Or pay an outrageous amount of money for one print?
Of course, since you had a professional take the shots, then there is no way that any other company will reprint them for you because of the copyrights that the photographer holds on the images.
I do not hold copyrights on my images. The only thing that I request of you is that you sign a waiver allowing me to use your photos for advertising. You get ALL of your shots, not just the ones that you want printed on a high resolution DVD mailed to you within 48 hours of payment! NOT three weeks! And you will never have to pay me for your memories again!

Photos Need More Flair?
Sometimes a photo is perfect EXCEPT for that one little thing. Might be that it should be black and white to make it more sophisticated or perhaps you want to get rid of a few wrinkles or an unsightly fence in the background.
We can do that for you as well. I partner with my husband
James to do all of my editing and retouching services. He
can provide an estimate of cost based on what you want
done to the photo. More intricate work requires more time
and therefore more money.
Services are billed at an hourly rate of $30.00
Conversion to Black and White is a $5.00 fee.
Basic retouching (removal of wrinkles, or small distractions
in the photo) is billable at a half-hour.
Full recoloring depends on the objects to be recolored and
the intricacy of the work. The majority of these will not
surpass an hour, however there are exceptions.
James will need to review what you would like done and can
provide a free quote.
