Welcome and Thank you for visiting WhiteDog Studio. Shannon's love of photography began at an early age. Taking her mothers camera to photograph the family pets and any thing else that happened to cross the path of her lens. While obtaining her bachelor of arts degree at George Mason University the camera became a constant companion capturing the images that inspired her paintings. It wasn't long before she realized that photography was more than a hobby or an inspiration for a painting it was a passion. Shannon moved to Knoxville after college and began her career as a Portrait photographer specializing in children, family and pets. She has a gift for capturing the timeless moments that seem to pass us by so quickly. Her customers know that she has a deep love for the portraits she takes of their children, Family or animals making it a memorable experience for all involved. She has treasured watching many of her customers babies both human and furry a like grow up before her eyes. When Shannon (aka Parker) does not have the camera attached to her face, she is a very down to earth woman who spends her free time with her extensive furry family, camping, hiking, swimming, competing in K9 sports, or her favorite past time watching UT football (GO VOLS!). She also is the Vice president of a local non profit group focusing on animal welfare issues such as adoption and pet over population control. She specializes in severely neglected and abused dogs that need therapeutic rehabilitation before adoption .She also donates countless hours of her time and photographic skills to various other animal rescue and welfare groups in the area for fundraising and promotions of adoptable animals.
