For over 30 years I have photographed numerous sporting and concert events throughout the UK & Europe from my home town Nottingham, UK. I got my Love of Photography from my Father, Syd, who bought me my first "proper" camera at the age of 21. For over 10 years I was the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team photographer and 5 years with the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Team. I was a regular contributor to the Ice Hockey News Review and in 1982 I was a finalist in the national "Best Sports Photograph of the Year" awards. During that time I also spent time with Torvil & Dean the World & Olympic Ice Dance Champions and also the Great Britain Ice Hockey Team. I have also been a keen supporter of Woman's Soccer - for many years I managed and coached Girls / Woman's teams as well as taking photographs at tournaments and International games. I spent many years photographing concerts throughout the UK & Europe including bands like Blondie, INXS, Bryan Adams, Paul McCartney & Wings just to name a few. In May 2004 I moved to California, USA. A whole new World of Sports & Bands opened up to me and my camera. I Love live music and lean towards the Rock genre. I have had the pleasure and honor of photographing many bands including Tesla, Heart, Blondie, Lamb of God, Trivium, Los Lonely Boys, Robbie Williams and too many more to mention..........most of whom I have become good friends with. I have also photographed LA Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes, Hollywood United & the USA Men's National soccer team as well as countless events throughout California.........is yours next?
