I've had a love of horses starting from the time I could walk and try to bring my passion to the art. As an equestrian, I've competed in youth national FFA judging competitions, trained numerous horses from the ground up and have competed in dressage, H/J and eventing. I'm currently interested in classical dressage, biomechanics and surviving the trials of raising my first young stallion. When I'm looking through the lense, I bring my knowledge of having spent years studying conformation and movement, the science of anticipating the horse's next move and the ideals of what I would want to see in photographs of my own horses.
I started taking my photography to a higher level when I apprenticed at Littletree Fell Pony Stud in Cumbria, England. There I got the opportunity to really refine my skills, spending hours every morning photographing mares and foals in the field, stallions, sale horses and the various horse shows we attended. I worked hard to learn how to bring out the best even on a bad day, learning the angles that show the horse off and bring out their strong points.

Pricing:
There is a base price of $100 for any visit up to two hours. This includes any number of horses within that amount of time. An additional $30/hr will be added on for any time extending beyond 2 hours.
Proofs will be available for viewing online. Each session includes a minimum of 20 proofs and one 8 X 10 enlargement of your choice. Photographs are for personal use only, for use in advertising please contact for details and pricing.
There is a mileage fee of $.30/mile for distances over 40 miles from my location.
