I am a Tacoma based photographer just starting a business from a passionate hobby. I have been in the business running other photography company's for 8 years now. Now I am on my own... This 'journey' started early in my childhood when I discovered I had a passion for photographs. Photography still is the driving force behind my work and business. It is not simply a career for me but a deep joy to be able to capture someones personality on film. I have always enjoyed observing a person's nature and expressing what I sense through the medium of photography. I believe a person's character is incredibly diverse - no two people should ever be photographed the same. Therefore I desire to photograph more than the mere appearance of a person. I want to capture the look of a mother's face as she plays with her new born child. To capture the unrestrained joy of a child, laughing while playing on a beach. The timeless beauty of a grandfather and his grandson can be forever remembered long after the moment has been passed because I was able to capture the bond they shared. To be invited to capturethe different stages of life is the greatest honour that I experience as a wedding and portrait photographer. To be present in a couple's weddingand then years later to be invited to photograph their first child. Photographing a young lady as she leaves for her high school formal and then to be invited to capture her joy again on her wedding day. No greater privilege can I have than this.
