your new revenue stream

According to a recent InfoTrends study (published May of 2009) the photo merchandise side of photography (the ability to sell print products like calendars, memory mates, cards and posters and photo gift products like mugs, mousepads and t-shirts, for example), is the most significantly growing opportunity for photographers.

Recent PMA research (“portrait market” reports published December of 2008) indicates that 54% of professional consumer photographers (those that do not sell stock, nature and advertising images) have an online presence and...

on average, online photography sales represents 23% of all annual revenue,
and in some instances online sales represents over 50% of total annual revenue.

PhotoReflect brings both of these highly profitable opportunities to over 35,000 registered photographers using a system invented and first utilized in 1999. This system uses proprietary software to enable you to set your own pricing, packages and lab partners –- no other professional photography storefront solution can claim such a long history and availability of options.

the photoreflect payment system

Was the first of its kind and has since been mimicked by many. You sign up for free, download the software, set up your preferences and upload your photography. When a photography customer makes an online purchase a maximum 18% of the online sale is delivered to the hosting company to cover credit card fees, the transaction overhead and the technology costs.

The backend of PhotoReflect deducts the fees and the wholesale production costs from the lab* (including shipping charges) and then sends you, the photographer, a check or direct deposit for the all profits. As additional service, after your first sale, your PhotoReflect online dashboard organizes your sales records and tax documentation for download.

After setup, all you have to do is publish your photos, tell your customers where to find them online, send any orders to “print” and, quite literally, watch the new income roll in.

* You can bypass sending work to labs if you have a Windows printer or dye-sublimation printer and would like to produce your print orders locally with a software upgrade.
