What started out as a dad taking pictures of his children playing sports has turned into a family passion. Now that Father and his Daughter has united to provide stunning photography of all kinds. We still shoot sports as needed, but we have narrowed our focus on Weddings, Family and Nature Photography. Along with the Father-Daughter duo, Mom and Daughter's Fiance have joined in preserving memories for our clients.

Mike Armentrout- I started enjoying photography during my High School Photography Class in 1988. That is 27 years of dabbling with the ISO/Shutter/Aperture triangle. Over the years my equipment has been upgraded from an old school Poloroid to the top of the line Canon equipment of today. I always challenge myself to get better each day. This is a passion in which there is always something new to learn. Today I really enjoy photographing wildlife. (I thought volleyball was a challange until I came across a Gnatcatcher.) If you want someone determined to get the shot ... I'm your man.

Ashley Armentrout- Ashley was the subject in front of a camera many years before getting behind the lens. Her passion of photography started with the "selfie" for "My Space" in her Junior High days. In High School she excelled in Art classes and it moved into Photography classes. With her artistic eye and the training she has had, Ashley is fantastic natural Photographer. Additionally she was the Photographer for her college marketing department at Texas State. In that role she shot everything from NCAA sports to poetry readings. Now with school behind her she is ready to fill the World with beautiful Photos.

We are almost finished with our own curriculum for an introduction to photography workshop geared for the new mom with a new camera. If all the conditions are right anyone can get a great shot. What do you do when the "Auto" setting isn't getting you the results? It is typically the conditions. We want to help you understand how to get the best shot you can. Knowing there are limits and how to push them will make you a better photographer.
