DLB Photography owner, Dana Balke, began her career in 1984 at NASA as a Mission Television producer whereby she planned and coordinated 46 space shuttle mission broadcasts. In 1993, Dana joined Channel 11/CBS News as a Morning News Editor and Steve Smith Sunday coordinator. Switching gears in 1999 to become a stay-at-home-mom, who also loved photography; the idea, then the business, evolved. DLB Photography is a family owned and operated business and often times her husband, Shann, expertly assists her on shoots. "I love the visual arts mixed with the spirit of the subjects I photograph.
