“I believe that it is not only my job to take exquisite photographs of the events that unfold before me, but to enhance the moment that actually transpired.” I specialize in two-point lighting and full coverage. Unlike the single on camera flash most photographers use (which creates a flat washed out image), two-point lighting consists of both an on, and off camera flash which allows me to add directional light to my subjects. This directional light creates highlights next to shadows, which makes for a more visually stunning photograph. Full coverage means, in the case of a wedding, I would arrive when the bride gets her hair done, and leave when the wedding party does after the reception. I won’t miss an expression, glance, or moment. For a portrait session, it means about 150 photos per hour to choose from. In addition, at no extra charge, all of my photos go through a post production process to enhance every image, removing blemishes, stray hairs, and unsightly pieces from images, ensuring the best possible product for my clients. It is my passion to take the highest quality, comprehensive series of images at each and every event. EDUCATION: Nicholas Viltrakis has been taking high quality photographs for over 15 years and is truly a prolific photographer. Nicholas pursues a never-ending goal of perfecting the art of photography. Indeed in technical execution, aesthetic appeal, and client satisfaction perfection is the goal. In 2006 Nicholas began studying under world famous wedding and event photographer David A. Ziser (www.ziser.com). That same year he graduated from David’s “Digital Master’s Class” and began assisting the Photographic Master on Cincinnati’s largest and most high profile events (including weddings, bar-mitzvahs, bat-mitzvahs, grand-openings, public appearances, corporate events, fashion shows, portraiture, high school senior portraits, concerts, and events of all types for some of Cincinnati and the surrounding area’s most well respected people).
